Puppies, Week 6

Wow! From furry lazy jelly beans not doing much of anything to...crazy into Everything in a couple short weeks. Vet is coming to vaccinate them tomorrow and after the 1st of the year, they can go to their forever homes.  I will be glad to see them go, hahaa

Perry will be glad to have his house back as well. Mama I guess will be with me until she is adopted,  her spay date is later in January.  The group will fix all the females when it is time.

I have been afraid they will wander off in the night, like the #notmykittens did, and since they all have homes anxiously waiting for them, that would be terrible...so they have been sleeping in the house at night. Sure dont like waking to potty everywhere, and my mornings are mopping as I wait for the coffee.

And then there is the mischief! Poor Mona cat is just the right size for jumping on and tumbling with, but she has been a good sport and hasn't left any scratch marks. Perry too, knows they are babies and is very tolerant and gentle.

Yesterday I sewed dog toys and made peanut butter banana dog treats to give as gifts for my furry friends. Because even tho it is 80 something degrees, Christmas is right around the corner! Covid and the "new" strain, has put Ecuador back on lock down, 10 people max at gatherings, and driving restrictions as well as curfew 10pm-4am.

Merry Christmas from Ecuador and all my furry family, and stay tuned...the adventure continues!

A, B, C's

This post is a mix of some things gathered off Facebook in the past months...

A is for Air Force. They recently had a blessing ceremony and took all the procautions.

B is for Ballena...our monument in San Jacinto recently was repaired. The whale tail as we Expats call it, needed work done and new paint.

And C is for cables.  The cities of Manta and Portoviejo are taking down their excess cables. Most of these are old tv cables, or telephone lines. Wish I could remember how many meters they removed. It will look so much better.

Christmas is upon us, then New year around the corner. Let's all hope the coming year has more to offer! Stay tuned, the adventure continues.
